Η MOYSA – Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Νέων του Μεγάρου Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης δημιουργήθηκε από τον ΟΜΜΘ τον Μάρτιο του 2015 με ιδρυτική δωρεά του Ιδρύματος Σταύρος Νιάρχος. Εχει συνεργαστεί με διακεκριμένους μαέστρους και έχει  συμπράξει με σημαντικoύς  καλλιτέχνες  της ελληνικής και διεθνούς μουσικής σκηνής.

Η ορχήστρα δωματίου της “MOYSA”   υπό τη διεύθυνση του αρχιμουσικού της  Παναγιώτη Διαμαντή εμφανίζεται για πρώτη φορά  στι Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Ρόδου, με μια μοναδική συναυλία, στο  Παλάτι του Μεγάλου Μαγίστρου, των Ιπποτών της Ρόδου. Η συναυλία  θα επαναληφθεί την επόμενη ακριβώς μέρα, στο  ιστορικό νησί Καστελλόριζο. Εργα: J.S. Bach, Edv. Grieg, J. Strauss, N.Σκαλκώτα κ.α. Οι συναυλίες πραγματοποιούνται σε συμπαραγωγή με το Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης

MOYSA – The Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall – was established in March 2015 with a founding donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. The orchestra has collaborated with distinguished conductors and has performed alongside celebrated artists from both the Greek and international music scenes.
The chamber orchestra of “MOYSA”, under the direction of its conductor Panagiotis Diamantis, is participating for the first time in the Rhodes International Festival, with a unique concert at the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights. This performance will be repeated the very next day on the historic island of Kastellorizo.Programme includes works by: J.S. Bach, Edvard Grieg, Johann Strauss, Nikos Skalkottas etc. Both concerts are held in co-production with the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
